Please arrive at the Arlington National Cemetary Visitor Center at least 15-20 minutes before your tour time. Everyone in the group will need time to clear security and the lines can be quite long from time to time. Your Tour Guide, Allen, will meet you 10 minutes before the start of the tour inside the Visitor Center at the mannequin of an Army bugler (you can't miss it!) - after you have cleared security.
Join Monumental Walks for an unforgettable walk through Arlington. If Arlington has been on your 'bucket list' for sites to see - or even if you have been here many times on your own - you'll loving having an experienced guide who has done more than 500 tours through this expansive 639-acre cemetery. The walks are casual, on paved roads and sidewalks. We make approximately 40 stops to discuss the history of the cemetery, the qualifications for burial, future expansion plans, and to visit many of the most recognized graves - and some not so well-known graves - in this sacred place. For comparison, the tram in the cemetery makes 5 stops - and you are on your own to actually visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Kennedy's grave, and others. With Monumental Walks, we take you right to the site - explain what you'll see - and have the guide with you the entire time.
